Last chance to train like an astronaut
In 2024, you have been able to train like an astronaut on Tom Tits Experiment. The very last launches await those who want to try out how astronauts train for a space flight. Let's do launch!
- Challenge gravity in the Moon Jump - a simulation of jumping on a lower gravitational planet than Earth. The elastic rope pulls you upwards and slows your fall towards the ground.
- Feel the weight of a backpack on different planets. Earth's backpack weighs 4kg, but how would it feel on Jupiter, the Moon or the Sun?
- Become a space detective - help the chemist organise the ingredients in the space station's pantry. Take a methodical approach to identify different mysterious powders.
Things to do with kids during the winter break
As winter sets in and our outdoor experiment park takes a break, we focus on maximizing the experiences indoors. There are over 400 experiments spread across four floors and Christmas holiday activities to tickle the curiosity of science lovers young and old.
Test your concentration and coordination in the ball lift or with the timeless dominoes. Ride our 40-meter slide, visit our exciting water section or follow the ball through the long ball track. Challenge your reaction skills with the reaction sticks and find out who in the family can catch the stick the fastest.
Learn about the human body in The Human Body exhibition, explore different scientific aspects of everyday life and dive into the multitude of invisible phenomena that constantly surround us. Learn about the mysterious power of magnetism and use the body as a tool to understand speed and motion.

Some of our experiments are tricky and require full mental focus, while others work best if you test them using your body. You may need to jump, spin and crawl.
