Book and plan the visit

Let Tom Tit's premises become an extension of the classroom. All our exhibitions are designed to enhance the activities of preschool and school.

It is possible to book school visits during our regular opening hours. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, schools can book from 9.00 am. We need your booking at least 14 days in advance.

Södertälje school

Preschools and schools within Södertälje municipality are welcome to visit Tom Tit free of charge during the semesters. This applies to both public and independant schools.

As a teacher you also have the opportunity to visit us free of charge for a preparatory visit. This does not need to be booked in advance, but on site you need to show the teacher's card. The cards are available at your school's office. Please note that the free entrance for a preparatory visit only applies to the teacher and not to other accompanying persons.

Other schools

All schools outside Södertälje municipality. The admission varies depending on the season, see current price list.

Advice before and during the visit

Have enough adults to keep an eye on the students during the visit. We recommend at least 1 adult per 10 students.
You as a teacher are responsible for the students during the visit and must be where the students are.
For a smooth check-in, make sure you know how many you are when registering at the entrance.
Requisition with the complete billing address and organization number of the school should always be brought to the entrance.

Rules of conduct

Show consideration for our other visitors
Feel free to experiment but be careful with the experiments
Use the stairs - the lift is dedicated to people with reduced mobility and strollers
Packed food is consumed in the pillar hall - leave the hall in good condition after the meal
The slide on the first and fourth and the Dark Tunnel on the second floor require extra attention from teachers

School lunch

School lunch from our restaurant is ordered in advance and costs SEK 79 per person. The lunch, which is served on weekdays during the semesters (not during school breaks), is served in our magical attic and consists of soup, pancakes with jam and cream, bread, butter and water. Coffee is also available for teachers. We offer options for the most common allergens.

Need a quieter visit?

We offer smaller groups from preschools and schools within special education in Södertälje municipality to visit us from 8.30 am on Tuesday mornings. In this way, the group can approach the exhibition in a more accessible and calm way.

The visit is free of charge for schools within Södertälje municipality. We have the opportunity to receive 1-2 groups outside Södertälje municipality at the regular school price.

Reservation

In your booking request, we need to know how large the group is and if you have any other needs or adaptations that need to be accommodated. We need your booking at least 14 days in advance.
