Telge Group Lean, Work Environment and Environmental Policy
The lean building is our guiding principle, and systematic lean, work environment and environmental management are integrated into all of our day-to-day activities.
We create the preconditions for being a sustainable business and attractive employer characterised by employee participation and engagement. We do so by developing our employeeship and leadership based on our core values and lean principles.
In more detail, this means that:
Lean
The lean philosophy provides us with healthy, sustainable growth that is good for us and our stakeholders because we:
- know who our customers are and their needs underpin our deliveries;
- base all of our decisions on facts and analysis;
- share a clear vision within the group and our organisation has a
clear and agreed mission; - have clear and balanced goals for health, safety and the environment, quality, delivery, finance and efficiency that propel us towards achieving the group’s vision;
- continuously improve our processes and working methods in order to deliver the best for our customers; and
- work in a manner that ensures that every individual develops personally and professionally, enjoys their work and is able to contribute to a continuously improving organisation.
Work environment
We have a work environment characterised by transparency and equal opportunities in which everyone is treated with respect because we:
- prioritise health and safe working conditions;
- conduct systematic work environment management to prevent risks;
- continuously cooperate with our employees, their health and safety representatives and trade unions;
- clarify and comply with statutory requirements and internal and external work environment regulations;
- continuously improve our organisational, physical and psychosocial work environment by developing our processes and working methods; and
- set clear objectives and work systematically on our work environment.
Environment
We take a long-term view of environmental management that contributes to achieving global sustainable development goals by:
- working systematically in all processes to minimise our negative environmental impact;
- working systematically in all processes to maximise our positive environmental impact;
- clarifying and complying with statutory requirements and internal and external environmental regulations;
- continuously improving our environmental management by developing our processes and working methods; and
- setting clear objectives and working systematically on environmental management.
